Introducing the Baumr-AG BM-LPL6 Free-standing Heavy-duty Wood Lathe. This 550 watt Lathe is a precision-engineered machine built for durability and reliability.

Experience the ultimate woodturning experience with this top-of-the-line BM-LPL6 wood lathe. The powerful 550W motor is a direct drive and boasts the highest rating of ‘S1’ for continuous duty. It provides plenty of power for woodturners of all skill levels. Analogue speed control allows you to adjust anywhere between 680-2500 RPM to get the best possible results for working any type of wood, without needing any pulley changes!

The Baumr-AG wood lathe features an impressive max workpiece length of 1000mm with an expansive work area of 990mm. A maximum workpiece diameter of 350mm allows just about any project to be handled on this professional-grade machine. This lathe is built to last and is extremely stable with minimal vibration at all speeds.

The BM-LPL6 has features unrivalled in its class: A cast iron tool rest and foot stock offer stability and steady tool resting points. A manual copy jig with mechanical lateral and perpendicular controls and 3 turning bits (moil, flat, and rounded spoon tips) are also included.

The nose shaft features an 18mm flared end with a 1mm centre taper to prevent slipping and assure mounting accuracy. The drive shaft can also be removed and fitted with a drill chuck*. The stand is made from high-tensile steel and has a tool shelf below. The headstock and foot stock have sealed bearings to prevent dust contamination.

The Baumr-AG also has a bowl adapter for unique or artisanal projects like a matching set of bowls, plates and cups. It can be used to grind, sand and polish your projects for the perfect finish.

Our warehouse is not open to the public and pick up is not available. However we offer free shipping on the majority of our items to almost anywhere in Australia. We are working with Allied Express, Australia Post, Fastway, and Toll to provide the most efficient delivery and service at a reasonable price. Most orders are shipped out the day after payment has been received. You will receive an email notification with the tracking number after we have processed your order.

Faulty Product:

Unless stated otherwise, we offer a 12-month warranty on all products. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or is faulty please contact us immediately. In addition to a detailed description of the problem we ask that you provide us with some images (or a short video clip) so that we can quickly proceed with the warranty process. Once approved by our customer service team we will contact you to confirm the process for the return, refund or replacement of the item. Please do not open ebay case or attempt to return the item without our approval as this will only delay the process.
